Naughty Dog is yet to reveal the official release date for The Last of Us Part II, the most highly anticipated games in recent years and many rumors around the web claim the 2019 or 2020 release.
And now the Argentine musician, film composer and producer, Gustavo Santaolalla has teased the release date during his concert in Kuwait, he talks about the songs his band would be playing during the show, stating that some pieces from The Last of Us and a little bit from the upcoming game, The Last of us Part II would be performed.
However he didn’t provide a firm release date, but he did say that “The Last of Us 2 is coming very soon.”

“The very soon” could be the 2019 release we have been claiming it since a while now, we will find out the official release date sooner anyway, but given the history of Naughty Dog their sequel to 2013’s The Last of Us be delayed multiple times or the game could actually release without any delays.
Regardless, we are super stoked about The Last of Us Part II, I for one can’t wait to finish the first game soon and be one of the first people to stream Part II live on our Twitch Channel (be sure to follow us on Twitch).
Development of the sequel began in 2014. Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson reprise their roles as Joel and Ellie, respectively. The story is written by Neil Druckmann and Halley Gross.
The game is set five years after The Last of Us, players control an older Ellie, who comes into conflict with a mysterious cult in a post-apocalyptic United States.
Naughty Dog’s upcoming action-adventure game, The Last of Us Part II is currently in development for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.
