EA Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment’s upcoming action game, Star Wars: Battlefront would be delayed if something goes wrong before launch, Chief Operating Officer, Peter Moore assures.

Speaking to MCV, Moore explains “You can’t ship it if it doesn’t work or the quality isn’t right.

EA: We'd Delay Star Wars Battlefront If It Wasn't Right 1

You just bite the bullet. Trust me, shipping [Battlefield] Hardline in March was not the easiest thing to do from a business perspective, but it was the right thing to do from a player perspective.

We’d have no compunction, no hesitation that if something went wrong with Battlefront, if it wasn’t right, we would just push it.

He continues, But that’s not going to happen. The game is playable with 40-players already, and it is rock solid, so it ain’t going to happen.”

Be the first to pre-order the game to “experience the Battle of Jakku, the pivotal moment when the New Republic confronted key Imperial holdouts on a remote desert planet on the Outer Rim.

Taking place in the aftermath of the Rebel victory in the Battle of Endor, players will experience the events that created the massive, battle-scarred landscape of Jakku shown in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Players who pre-order Star Wars: Battlefront can fight the battle one-week early starting on December 1, 2015. All other players will get access to this free† content on December 8, 2015.”

Star Wars: Battlefront will be available on November 17 in NA, November 17 in EU & November 20, 2015 in UK for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A month ahead of J. J. Abrams’ upcoming American epic space opera film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
