Naughty Dog’s upcoming action-adventure third-person shooter, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will get a single-player dlc for the first time in the franchise.

And the development team will implement what they’ve learned from The Last Of Us Left Behind dlc into their upcoming action-adventure third-person shooter’s single player dlc.

The developers took a different approach with the single-player DLC for The Last Of Us, the features from the main game such as – interactive cutscenes, multi-choice dialogue sequences, non-combat sequence & other diverging gameplay elements didn’t make it to DLC but it was well received from fans and that pushed the team to do something similar with Uncharted 4.

In a recent interview with OPMUK, writer Josh Scherr goes on to say that Uncharted 4‘s single player will be influenced by their action-adventure survival horror game, The Last Of Us‘ Last Behind DLC.

He defines that working on Left Behind was like “making a big game on a small scale” with the freedom to take few risks.

The studio will do the same with UC4 DLC, “Now that we know what’s involved in making something that size, hopefully, whatever mistakes and mishaps we may have made making Left Behind… we’ll be able to avoid those and make some brand new ones!,” Scherr concluded.
