Warner Bros. Pictures released the first trailer and poster for The Nice Guys, an upcoming american crime thriller.
Directed by Shane Black & co-wrote the script with Anthony Bagarozzi.
It stars Ryan Gosling, Russell Crowe Kim Basinger, Matt Bomer, Margaret Qualley, and Ty Simpkins.
Synopsis:
“Set in 1970s Los Angeles, when down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March (Gosling) and hired leg-breaker Jackson Healy (Crowe) must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star.
During their investigation, they uncover a shocking conspiracy that reaches up to the highest circles of power.”
“It is an R-rated film and it’s a caper. It’s a little fast, a little funny and a little rough in places, kind of coarse, Black told People Magazine.
These guys are working-class dudes, they’re not really sophisticated private detectives, so it’s a chance to do the kind of thriller I don’t see too much of anymore.”
The Nice Guys is scheduled to hit theaters on May 20, 2016.
