Michael Douglas has officially confirmed that he will return for Marvel’s upcoming Ant-Man sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp as Hank Pym.
Douglas took to Facebook to confirm the news and revealed that production will begin soon: “Getting ready to play Dr. Pym again in Ant-Man 2 shooting in July.
Need to start growing the goatee now. #antman #marvel”
Michael Douglas will return alongside Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, Michael Pena and Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, who will finally suit up as The Wasp.
Andrew Barrer, Gabriel Ferrari and Paul Rudd are scripting the sequel.
Peyton Reed will return to direct.
Filming is expected to begin in July 2017 at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia.
Ant-Man and The Wasp is set for July 6, 2018 release.
