Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Remastered brings in a new feature ‘Photo Mode’, which allow players to freeze the game in action and take some beautiful shots.

Photo Mode can be activated through the pause screen by tapping L3 to freeze the action in-game (as long as you aren’t in a cutscene), check out the tutorial video after the break:

Photo Mode features plenty of options: Camera control, field of view, and depth of field adjustments, you can pick one of ten different color filters and adjust the intensity.

You can choose to give your photo a vignette or even select from a selection of eleven different frames.

Photo Mode will arrive exclusively on PlayStation 4 via Patch 1.01 for The Last of Us Remastered. The Patch will be rolled out globally before the release.

The Last of Us Remastered launches on July 29 in North America and July 30, 2014 in Europe.
