Sony’s next gen console specifications, controller details and account system have reportedly been leaked from a 90-page PDF Sony document with development kits.

According to the documents, PS4 will support Sixaxis and DualShock 3 controllers, but there’s a new controller in development for next gen console.

DualShock Controller

The new controller features four face buttons, two analogue sticks and shoulder triggers, as well as vibration and improved motion-sensing, it also features a touch pad on the back of the controller similar to Vita’s rear touch screen. There is also a ‘Share’ button, the purpose of which is unclear at this time.

The next gen console (PS4) specs*:

  • 8GB system memory
  • 2.2 GB video memory
  • 4x Dual-Core AMD64 “Bulldozer” (8x cores) CPU
  • AMD R10xx GPU
  • 4x USB 3.0 and 2x Ethernet ports
  • Blu-Ray drive
  • 160GB HDD
  • HDMI & Optical, 2.0, 5.1 & 7.1 channels Audio Output

*Specs may change for the retail release.

PS4 will support “multi-user simultaneous logins”, allowing more than one user to log into accounts simultaneously on a single console.
