Screen Gems, Lakeshore Entertainment & Sketch Films debuted the trailer for Underworld: Blood Wars, an upcoming American action horror film.
It is the fifth installment in the Underworld film series and the sequel to 2012 film Underworld: Awakening, with Kate Beckinsale reprising her role as Selene.
The other cast includes Theo James as David, formerly a Pure-Born Vampire—now a Vampire-Corvinus Strain Hybrid, and Selene’s protégé and ally; Tobias Menzies as Marius, a Lycan leader; Trent Garrett as Michael Corvin, Selene’s lover. Garrett replaces Scott Speedman, who played the role in the first two films.; Lara Pulver as Semira, a fiercely ambitious Vampire who is the main female antagonist; Clementine Nicholson as Lena, the Nordic Coven’s greatest warrior and daughter of Vidar; Bradley James as the villain; and Charles Dance as Thomas, a Vampire Elder and David’s father.
Directed by Anna Foerster and written by Cory Goodman.
Based on characters originally created by Kevin Grevioux, Len Wiseman and Danny McBride.

The Underworld: Blood Wars is scheduled to be released on January 6, 2017.
