Sony Interactive Entertainment and Naughty Dog‘s standalone expansion action-adventure, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy goes gold.
The development on standalone expansion to the Uncharted series has been completed and it will be sent for final pressings of retails dics and setup for digital release.
You know what that means.. most of the team who are part of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will move on join the developers working on the sequel to The Last of Us (2013), The Last of Us Part II, while some might still be on The Lost Legacy to fix and deploy patches for the expansion.
In the action-adventure, “players control one of the most popular characters in the series Chloe Frazer, who seeks the Tusk of Ganesh in the mountains of India in the midst of a civil war, with the help of mercenary Nadine Ross, who made her first appearance in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as the leader of Shoreline, a South African paramilitary organization hired by the story’s primary antagonist Rafe Adler.
The game is played from a third-person perspective; players use firearms, and can use melee combat and stealth to defend against hostile enemies.
Players solve puzzles, incorporating several platformer elements to advance the narrative, and navigate the game world on-foot or by vehicle.”

Owners of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Digital Deluxe Edition, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Triple Pack, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Explorer’s Pack will receive Uncharted: The Lost Legacy as a download at launch.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will launch on August 22 in North America and August 23, 2017 in Europe for $39.99 / $49.99.
