Ubisoft confirmed that Assassin’s Creed III in-game microtransactions will allow players to buy multiplayer content disregarding the current level, the publisher has issued a statement to clear things up.
“The Erudito Credits are a new way of unlocking content in Assassin’s Creed III′s Multiplayer. People who have little time can use Erudito Credits as a shortcut to unlock game items from level 1 to 50 (excluding Prestige levels and relics rewards).”
“This is not mandatory, all items sold in Erudito Credits are also available in Abstergo Credits and can be unlocked through normal progression like previous years.” “The currency model will not block out content to those who don’t pay.”
The packs will be available at the following prices:
- 20 Erudito Pack = 80 MSP ($1 USD)
- 50 Erudito Pack = 160 MSP ($2 USD)
- 155 Erudito Pack = 400 MSP ($5 USD)
- 380 Erudito Pack = 800 MSP ($10 USD)
- 925 Erudito Pack = 1600 MSP ($20 USD)
The content is only available from within the game; it cannot be purchased from the PlayStation Store.
Assassin’s Creed III will release on November 20 for PC and launch game for Wii U.
