Naughty Dog debuted a cinematic trailer for The Last of Us: Left Behind single-player DLC.

“Set before Joel and Ellie meet in The Last of Us, Left Behind will focus strongly on Ellie and Riley, adding intriguing new wrinkles to Ellie’s future relationship with Joel, as well as immersive details about the game’s decaying world.”

The developer also released a video discussing the development of Left Behind DLC.

Left Behind DLC acts as a sort off prequel, it revolves around Ellie and her best friend Riley (played by Yaani King) as they attend a military boarding school in the Boston quarantine zone, prior to meeting Joel and the events in the main campaign of The Last of Us.

The Last of Us: Left Behind is set to release on February 14, 2014. It is included in the The Last of Us Season Pass or you can buy the single-player DLC for $14.99.
