Naughty Dog detailed The Last of Us DLC and Season Pass, starting it with first of three Season Pass DLC drops, ‘The Abandoned Territories Map Pack.’

The promised story-driven single player DLC that has strong ties into the narrative of The Last of Us is currently planned for release around the December 2013/January 2014.

Naughty Dog recently wrapped up its casting process to introduce a new character in the DLC and the performance capture shoot will start next week.

The third Season Pass DLC will be multiplayer focused which arrives in first half of 2014, more information will be revealed closer to the release.

Additionally, “To make the wait a little bit easier”, ND is adding bonus items will be added to the Season Pass, which contains over 60 different head items for your multiplayer character ranging from a Nightmare Mask to a Pigskin Hat that will be free for all Season Pass buyers, these head items will be available a la carte as well.

The Last of Us Season Pass is available now for $19.99. First DLC Drop ‘The Abandoned Territories Map Pack’ will be available on October 15, 2013.
