The Super Mario Bros. Movie character posters highlight various characters from Nintendo universe featuring Bowser, Donkey Kong, Princess Peach, Luigi, and Mario himself, check them about after the jump!
The film’s star-studded voice cast features Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Sebastian Maniscalco as Foreman Spike, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, Khary Payton as the Penguin King, and Eric Bauza as Koopa Soldier.
Additionally, Charles Martinet, the regular voice actor for Mario and Luigi among other characters in the video games, will appear in “surprise cameos”, according to Mario creator, Shigeru Miyamoto.
Storyline:
“A plumber named Mario travels through an underground labyrinth with his brother, Luigi, trying to save a captured princess.
“Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic from a screenplay by Matthew Fogel.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie is set to arrive big screens in the United States on April 7, and in Japan on April 28, 2023.
