Bethesda released a new gameplay video for their upcoming first-person action-adventure shooter, Wolfenstein: The New Order.
“In the video, BJ Blazkowicz has an unexpected run in with one of Wolfenstein’s most cunning villains, Frau Engel.”
Plot:
“The game takes place during the 1960s in an alternate history world in which the Nazis won World War II.
The player assumes the role of series protagonist William “B.J.” Blazkowicz who is tasked with launching an “impossible” counter-offensive against the Nazi powers that have taken over the world.
Set in Europe, The New Order will have players infiltrating Nazi strongholds and battling legions of enemies, while taking control of “super weapons” that the Nazis have used to dominate Earth.
Three years after the events of Wolfenstein, famed OSA agent Blazkowicz has suffered from amnesia he received at the height of the war due to a secret mission gone awry.
For the last 14 years he has resided in an asylum. After escaping, he finds a harsh new world controlled by a more advanced “old” enemy.”
Wolfenstein: The New Order will be available in North America on May 20 and throughout Europe on May 23, 2014 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
