After the details for The Last of Us Season Pass leaked, Naughty Dog announced three DLC packs post-launch and a Season Pass deal for The Last of Us.

The three DLC packs features one single-player expansion and two multiplayer packs, the $20 Season Pass will offer you a discount for all future DLC’s, a 30% saving on the price of the individual releases.

Season Pass includes Day 1 bonuses:

  •  Increased Crafting Speed
  •  Increased Healing Speed
  •  9mm Reload Speed Upgrade
  •  Rifle Clip Capacity Upgrade
  •  Grounded – exclusive 90min “Making of The Last of Us” documentary

“These bonuses will help you get a head start and an edge in Joel and Ellie’s struggle to survive through the single player campaign of The Last of Us. The documentary, Grounded, is an in-depth look at the making of The Last of Us throughout its development by Area 5.

For the first time ever we’ll be offering single player DLC. The journey and cast of characters in The Last of Us lends itself to thorough narrative exploration and we’ve got more of the story to tell.”

The other two DLC packs is a multiplayer content offering additional multiplayer maps and other expansions. More info about this will be announced in coming weeks.

They also announced the full digital edition of the game in PAL regions, that’s available for pre-orders starting tomorrow on PlayStation Store.

The digital edition version of the game game will be a day one download. It features a unique download installer which allows you to start playing the game once the game data is a little over half way downloaded.

The Season Pass is available now on PlayStation Store and it will also be available via select retailers on launch day.

The Last of Us will hit stores worldwide on June 14, 2013, exclusive for PlayStation 3.
