The film stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant, Stephen Merchant, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal, Elizabeth Rodriguez.
Logan (AKA Wolverine 3) is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Wolverine.
Sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and The Wolverine (2013), and is the tenth installment in the X-Men film series.
Based on the comic book series Old Man Logan by Mark Millar Steve McNiven. The film will mark the final appearance of Jackman as Wolverine.
The film marks the final portrayal of Jackman in the titular character after appearing in every main entry in the X-Men film series to date.
The film is “set ten years after the events of X-Men: Days of Future Past and fifty years after X-Men: Apocalypse in 2033, Logan has aged over the years making the promise not to use his claws for bloody purposes and his healing factor has been weakened.
But, that will change when an evil organization tries to use the rest of the mutants in the world to turn them into weapons, and Logan will need to release the Wolverine persona to prevent it.”
Directed by James Mangold from Michael Green & David James Kell’s script, produced by Lauren Shuler Donner.
Logan is scheduled to be released on March 3, 2017.
