Tango Gameworks and Bethesda released new set of behind the scenes video for their upcoming survival-horror, The Evil Within.

Like the first set of BTS videos web series, the three videos is hosted by Adam Sessler and it starts off with “Visual Design: The Aesthetics of Evil.”

In the video, “Sessler chats with Art Director, Naoki Katakai about the appearance of the enemies and world of The Evil Within and find out what inspired Naoki in creating the gruesome looks of the enemies, and unnerving atmosphere of the environments.”

Next up: Audio Design: The Sounds of Evil – “Sessler sits down with sound designers, Shuichi Kobori, and Ippei Shiraki to find out how the eerie music and sounds come together to immerse the player into Sebastian’s world.”

The final video, Inspirations: The Origins of Evil – “Sessler speaks with Shinji Mikami on his inspirations from horror films and the genre in general.”

Story:
“While investigating the scene of a gruesome mass murder, Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners encounter a mysterious and powerful force.

After seeing the slaughter of fellow officers, Sebastian is ambushed and knocked unconscious. When he awakens, he finds himself in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead.

Facing unimaginable terror, and fighting for survival, Sebastian embarks on a frightening journey to unravel what’s behind this evil force.”

The Evil Within is set to be released on October 14 in North America & October 17, 2014 throughout Europe for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
