Ubisoft released a new trailer and announced open beta for their upcoming third-person tactical shooter action role-playing game, Tom Clancy’s The Division.
“After the outbreak of the virus, many factions took advantage of New York’s collapsed society and infrastructure.
Take a look at the variety of deadly enemies that you will encounter in NYC as you fight to restore order and save what remains.”
Ubisoft will host an open beta for the game from February 19 to 21 for PS4, PC, & Xbox One will get 24-hour early access for beta. Open beta Pre-load will kick off on February 16 across all platforms.
“The development team has resolved most of the PC cheating issues tracked during the closed beta, and all of them will be resolved by launch on March 8.
The developers will continue to closely monitor the open beta for any new issues, and address them accordingly,” said Ubisoft.
In addition to closed beta content, the open beta will include new story mission that will let you explore the devastated New York. Everyone who takes part in beta will receive a special in-game reward, which unlocks when the full game is released.
Synopsis:
“The Division takes place weeks after a devastating pandemic sweeps through New York City, and one by one, basic services fail. In only days, without food or water, society collapses into chaos.
The Division, a classified unit of self-supported tactical agents, is activated. Leading seemingly ordinary lives among us, Division agents are trained to operate independently in order to save society. When society falls, your mission begins.”
Tom Clancy’s The Division will be available on March 8, 2016 simultaneously for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
