Paramount Pictures released a new trailer of The Dictator, an upcoming 2012 film by Sacha Baron Cohen.

Cohen’s fourth film will “tell the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed”, according to Paramount Pictures, which will distribute the film.

The new trailer shows Admiral General Aladeen of the Republic of Wadiya, roaming New York city with no money, no power and no beard after being kidnapped by US intelligence and abandoned, get the new trailer after the jump:

Larry Charles, who previously directed Baron Cohen’s mockumentaries Borat and Brüno, will also direct the film. The comedian will play dual roles as a peasant and a dictator opposite Anna Faris, Ben Kingsley, and Megan Fox. To watch as one ruler risks his life to keep democracy out of his country, and pay Megan Fox for sexual favors using rubies.

The Dictator is set to be released on May 11th, 2012 and stars Sacha Baron Cohen, Ben Kingsley,Jason Mantzoukas, Anna Faris, Megan Fox, John C. Reilly.
