Sony released a latest trailer which demonstrates its PlayStation hardware and the life around it, featuring PS4, PS Vita and PS Vita TV.
The trailer debuted during Sony’s Japan conference, you can watch it after the jump:
PlayStation Vita TV is a new set-top box entertainment system that launches on November 14 in Japan. It measures only 6.5cm × 10.5cm, will play PS Vita, PSP and PSone titles, but will also offer PS4 games via Remote Play. 720P will be supported over HDMI.
Sony said in its press release that “PS Vita TV will be available first in Japan prior to any other regions”.
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia, a division of Sony Computer Entertainment, responsible for business operation in Japan and Asia, revealed the launch date and price-point for PlayStation 4 in Japan. It will 9,954 yen, whilst a Value Pack bundling in a DualShock 3 controller and 8GB memory card will launch for 14,994 yen.
PS4 will launch on February 22, 2014, in Japan for 41,979 yen. Retailers handling PS4 will begin accepting pre-orders from October 5, 2013.
PlayStation 4 First Limited Pack and PlayStation 4 First Limited Pack with PlayStation Camera will be released as a limited offer in Japan, concurrently with the launch of PS4, for 41,979 yen and 46,179 yen respectively.
PS4 First Limited Pack will include a product code for downloading PS4 exclusive title Knack via the PlayStation Store, and a warranty with extended coverage for 12 extra months. The PS4 Limited Pack with PlayStation Camera will come bundled with PlayStation Camera in addition to the contents included in PS4 First Limited Pack.
PlayStation 4 launch on November 15, 2013 in Canada and the U.S, November 29, 2013 in Europe for $399/ €399/£349.
