Walt Disney Pictures & Lucasfilm revealed a new poster for their upcoming American epic space opera film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens ahead of new trailer reveal tomorrow.

The trailer for the film will be debut during halftime of the National Football League (NFL) game between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles in Philadelphia on October 19.

The seventh installment in the episodic Star Wars film series.

Directed by J. J. Abrams & co-wrote the screenplay with Lawrence Kasdan.

It stars John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o, and Gwendoline Christie, with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker reprising their roles from previous films.

“Set approximately 30 years after the defeat of the Empire and the demise of Darth Vader, the plot follows a trio of young leads, along with characters from the previous installments.”

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is scheduled for release on December 18, 2015 in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.
