Volition and Deep Silver revealed a new Saints Row IV standalone expansion titled Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell during their PAX Prime panel today.
“Volition’s biggest bad ass from the Third Street Saints is back, hotter than ever (literally!)
Johnny Gat is larger than life in Volition’s Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell standalone expansion. In Gat Out of Hell players take on the role of Johnny Gat as he is sent into hell via a nefarious spirit board incident and left to combat demons, the horrors of the underworld (including prominent historical figures) and, of course, the Devil himself.”
The publisher also announced Saints Row IV – Re-Elected for PS4 and Xbox One game, it will feature all of the DLC from Saints Row IV, plus a few other perks.
It also includes a slight graphical upgrade, and the PS4 and Xbox One version of Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell will use your SRIV save data to bring your version of the Saints boss into the cutscenes.
Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell Synopsis:
“Johnny Gat and Kinzie Kensington embark on a quest to save The President/God Emperor of the Universe from Hell’s infernal city of New Hades. After teaming up with former enemy Dane Vogel, they learn The Boss is going to be forced to marry Satan’s daughter! The Saints must conquer the demon-infested city and save their friend before it is too late.”
Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell (for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4) and Saints Row IV – Re-Elected (for PS4 & Xbox One) will release on January 27 (US), January 30, 2015 (Rest of the World).
