Tom Holland‘s Peter Parker / Spider-Man will be part of Marvel’s untitled Avengers 4 movie, according to Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige.
In an interview with THR, Feige confirmed that Spider-Man will appear in Avengers 4, that will be after his solo feature, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War.
Following Avengers 4, he will be back for Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel in 2019. “That’s as far as it goes for now” adds Feige.
Indeed, the initial deal with Sony was to bring Spider-Man for a solo feature and cameo in Captain America: Civil War, but Marvel worked out the deal to add him on Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers 4 and Spider-Man: Homecoming 2.
Although, Sony is moving ahead with their Spidey spinoffs for Venom and Silver Sable / Black Cat teamup movie, but Marvel won’t be involved with them.
When asked why Marvel wasn’t involved in Sony’s plans for Spidey spinsoffs, Feige explains: “We had a very particular plan about Spidey himself.”
Recently, producer Amy Pascal recently noted that Homecoming 2 would mark the end of the contract with Marvel for Spidey, but that would be renegotiated before or after Homecoming 2, since Feige said “for now” it shows that he is just being optimistic about the deal that can be extended to include more MCU films and more standalone movies. We just have to wait to find out.
Spidey’s next, Spider-Man: Homecoming stars Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Michael Keaton as The Vulture, Logan Marshall-Green as a secondary villain, Tony Revolori as Flash Thompson, Kenneth Choi as Peter’s high school Principal, and Zendaya as Michelle.
The cast also includes Michael Barbieri, Laura Harrier, Donald Glover (aka Childish Gambino), Martin Starr, Angourie Rice, Jacob Batalon, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., J. J. Totah, Hannibal Buress, Selenis Leyva, Abraham Attah, Michael Mando, Garcelle Beauvais, Tiffany Espensen, and Martha Kelly.
The film is intended to be the second reboot of the Spider-Man film franchise and the sixteenth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Screenplay by John Francis Daley & Jonathan M. Goldstein, Jon Watts, Christopher Ford, Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
