After giving us the first glimpse at Spider-Man: Homecoming, Sony Pictures updated their release schedule by adding Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 for 2019 and moving up Bad Boys 4.
Peter Parker’s solo adventure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will continue in Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel.
Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 is set to debut on July 5, 2019 replacing Bad Boys 4’s Independence Day weekend release on July 3.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence starrer, Bad Boys 4 will instead release during Memorial Day 2019, the second most patriotic weekend on May 24, 2019.
Homecoming sequel will go head to head with untitled Universal Illumination movie and Bad Boys 4 will be going up against Warner Bros. Pictures’ Minecraft.
Spider-Man: Homecoming directed by Jon Watts, stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Tyne Daly, Bokeem Woodbine, Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will be reprising their roles in Bad Boys for Life, directed by Joe Carnahan.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is currently slated for July 3, 2017, while Bad Boys for Life (Bad Boys 3) is set January 28, 2018 release.
