American actor and musician, Michael Shannon talks about his General Zod role in Warner Bros. Pictures’Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Michael Shannon’s General Zod was killed by Superman in Zack Snyder’s American superhero, Man of Steel (2013) and that was one of the major points of contention for fans, but there is more, things are about to get ever more stranger and weirder in upcoming American superhero film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

In an interview with Vulture, Shannon reveals “I was in my costume, and I couldn’t use my fingers because in the sequel I have flippers instead of hands.

So I had these wax flippers on my fingers, and I couldn’t open the door, and I could hear Zack [Snyder, the director] being like, ‘Where’s Shannon? Where the f**k is he?’ and the whole crew was standing around.

I was like, knocking on the door with my flippers, ‘Let me out of here!’”

Wait, wait, wait, wait, did he just say flippers? huh? According to the recent rumors Michael Shannon’s General Zod will go on to become Doomsday and he never had flippers for hands. This might be a new addition or they will digitally edit it later. We will find out soon. What do you think?

Regardless he refused to talk more about it and when asked about his brief appearance in Batman V Superman trailer, he replied: “Well, I haven’t seen the trailer either, so I don’t know what I am in the trailer. I could be a toaster, or a Porsche, I don’t know.”

The film stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Scoot McNairy.

Directed by Zack Snyder with a screenplay written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer.

Produced by Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to be released on March 25, 2016 in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.
