Microsoft & Square Enix released a cinematic teaser for Crystal Dynamics’ upcoming action-adventure, Rise of the Tomb Raider.
The E3 preview teaser trailer features the voiceover of Camilla Luddington, full trailer debuts at E3 2015. Watch the teaser after the jump:
The game builds upon the formula that made Tomb Raider a success, and features the return of Camilla Luddington as Lara Croft. “Camilla will take character performance to new heights as Lara pushes herself beyond human limits and is confronted with what it means to become a hero.
The award-winning author Rhianna Pratchett is back as a key member Crystal Dynamics’ writing team, helping craft a story that delves into Lara’s inner turmoil and motivations in this critical second act of her journey.”
Synopsis:
“Rise of the Tomb Raider continues the story of Lara Croft as she seeks to learn more about the deeper, secret world she has discovered around her.
Obsessed by what she has seen, Lara is now threatened by a shadow organization intent on killing her for what she knows.
She is pushed to her physical and mental limits as she seeks the truth buried deep within the tombs of an ancient world.
To unravel the mystery of a Lost City, Lara must use her survival skills and wits, learn to trust new friends, and ultimately accept her destiny as the Tomb Raider.”
Rise of the Tomb Raider will release as a timed Xbox One exclusive in 2015 and sometime later (probably early 2016) for PC & PS4.
