Microsoft’s next-gen Xbox controller will get very few changes to its design, according to a report.

Kotaku unnamed sources states that the next-gen controller won’t differ greatly from Xbox 360’s controller.

The twin-analogue setup and button layout look the same, including the centrally-positioned Home button, analogue triggers and d-pad, only it will be a bit smaller.

The source also states that Microsoft has covered its next-gen controller prototypes in black and white-stripped patterns, each one could contain a slightly different – and, crucially, traceable – pattern. so that if a shot of it leaked, was lost, or stolen it would be easy to track the developer.

Microsoft is rumored to reveal the next Xbox at a special event in late April.
