Rockstar Games has announced another delay & revealed the release date for their upcoming Western-themed action-adventure, Red Dead Redemption 2.

Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 launches October 2018, it was previously set to arrive during Spring 2018, the studio released a statement along with new screenshots, get them after the break:

“We apologize to everyone disappointed by this delay. While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish.

We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it.

In the meantime, please check out these screenshots from the game. We look forward to sharing a lot more information with you in the coming weeks.”

The game was announced back in October 2016 with a fall 2017 release window, then it was delayed to Spring 2018 and now it will finally arrive in October 2018, unless they delay it again.

“The game follows the story of outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they rob, fight and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America in order to survive.”
