The open beta for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, which was set to kick off today has been delayed.
Update: Open Beta is live now. “We are happy to confirm we will be launching the Rainbow Six Siege open beta at 12pm EST.”
The beta was due to roll out to everyone later today, after the closed beta kicked off yesterday, the open beta will launch only after Ubisoft has ironed out the issues with matchmaking, disconnection & other fixes.
Ubisoft posted an update on the forums, “We’re currently seeing issues with matchmaking times and disconnection on all platforms.
As such we’re postponing the Open Beta until a later time and keeping the game under Closed Beta status.
We apologize for the delay and can assure you this is our top priority. We will keep everyone updated regularly as we continue to deploy improvements.”
The game is out next week, so we are hoping they’ll fix the issues soon.
It isn’t clear how long the developers intend to delayed the launch of open beta, we will find out soon.
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will launch December 1, 2015 for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
