Shrek may be over but the cat we all know and love, Puss in Boots, has been given his own feature length film! And it looks pretty darn comical.
With their latest animated adventure Kung Fu Panda 2 crossing the $400 million mark worldwide this weekend, the experts over at DreamWorks Animation have turned their attention to their next release of Puss in Boots. Set to arrive in 3D theaters on November 4, you can watch a full new trailer and check out their latest poster here.
The film is set before the Shrek films and is based on the adventure of Puss (Antonio Banderas) alongside Humpty Dumpty, voiced by Alan from The Hangover (Zach Galifianakis), as they attempt to steal a goose that lays golden eggs. As you do.
Salma Hayek is the voice of the sexy and streetwise Kitty Softpaws, who helps them in their mission to get the eggs.
As much as he wants to be the smouldering hero Puss ends up being as cute and clumsy as ever. And we love it when Kitty mocks him for wearing heeled boots. She’s a fiesty little cat that one.
