Radical Entertainment announced that the PC version of their upcoming Prototype 2 has been pushed back a full three months beyond the console launch.
The developer announced on Facebook stating: “Hey all, we just wanted to let you know that the PC version of PROTOTYPE 2 is unfortunately going to be delayed until July 24th. Radical Entertainment has always been extremely dedicated to all our fans, and we just wanted to make sure you heard the news from us FIRST. We’ll share more details with you soon.”
While PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are expected on April 24, the PC version will be held off until July 24.
North American fans who pre-order the game at GameStop between January 1, 2012 and April 23, 2012 will receive access to “Sgt. James Heller’s Devastating Bio-Bomb Butt Kicker Ability.”
