Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic third-person survival action-adventure blockbuster game, The Last of Us won’t be ported to PlayStation 4, according to Eric Monacelli.

During The Last of Us ‘Abandoned Territories Map Pack’ livestream on the PlayStation Blog, A fan asked if the game would be ported to PS4 when the console launches, to that Naughty Dog community strategist Eric Monacelli said, “We have no plans to do that.”

The critically acclaimed, fastest selling new franchise in the PS3’s history launched in June, sold over 3.4 million units worldwide in 3-4 weeks.

‘Abandoned Territories Map Pack’ released yesterday, with additional content expected to release in coming months.

Naughty Dog is currently working on a new PlayStation 4 title, it might be a new entry in Uncharted series or a sequel to The Last of Us (since Sony registered The Last of Us 2 & 3 domains).
