Hideo Kojima has finally left Japanese developer, publisher, Konami on December 15, 2015, according to a report.
Following the departure from Konami, Hideo Kojima is establishing a new studio with former staff and is in talks with Sony Computer Entertainment to work on new timed exclusive game for PlayStation platform.
Japanese video game designer, screenwriter, director and producer, Kojima joined Konami in 1986 worked on Snatcher/Policenauts games, Zone of the Enders series, Metal Gear series and few other video game series’ with Konami for nearly 29 years.
Also found Kojima Productions with Konami in 2005. In June 2015, The studio closed its down and sized all the activity.
In April 2015, Konami canceled Silent Hills, which was being directed by Kojima alongside Guillermo del Toro for the PlayStation 4.
In March 2015, reports began to surface that Kojima would part ways with Konami after the release of The Phantom Pain.
And then Konami removed Kojima’s name from the series’s marketing material.
Earlier this month, Konami barred him from attending The Game Awards 2015 to receive the award for Best Action Game and Best Score/Soundtrack for Metal Gear Solid V.
And finally today he is out of the shackles, he’s a free man. We are hoping he will bring back the Silent Hills.
