Apple‘s next iPhone will be a big challenge for the company, as this will be the first non-Jobs iPhone.

Images of the casing of next-generation iPhone have leaked today, the case design is similar to the the current iPhone 4S released last October.

The pictures (via iLab) shows a smaller dock connector, the elongated screen and a new metal backing (replacing the previous glass backing used in the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S)

Reports suggest that the next iPhone will feature a 4 inches screen and this will be the first time a iPhone gets an increase in physical screen size. Previous iPhone screens are 3.5 inches since the original version launched back in 2007. It was also reported that the screen might be thinner and will have a integrating touch sensors directly into the screen instead of traditional touch-screen layer used in previous iPhone‘s.
