Remedy Entertainment’s Oskari Hakkinen, head of franchise development, said that they are working on a unannounced project for next-gen consoles.

Speaking with the German edition of GamesIndustry (via Google translation) Hakkinen claimed that next-generation consoles are “a quantum leap” over Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

“We are working as usual, with a relatively small team on a next-gen project,” he said. “ One question you always ask yourself in this phase is: Can the new upcoming consoles really be so much better compared to the current gen? “I can rest assure you, they are! It’s a quantum leap.”

In March, a job listing for Remedy noted it was hiring for an unannounced project for “future generation consoles”.

Previously, according to a rumor, Sony’s next-generation console PlayStation 4 will support 4K Resolution.
