Sony Interactive Entertainment debuted the new trailer for The Last of Us Part II during their PlayStation Media Showcase at PGW 2017 showing off the new characters.

After few hours, Naughty Dog shared the names of the characters along with the voice characters in a series of posts on Twitter, except one voiced by Laura Bailey that grabbed everyone’s attention, let us know who do you think the character is in the comments below!

“At its core, The Last of Us is still very much about Ellie and Joel, but for this reveal, we wanted to showcase several new characters that are integral to their next journey,” said Creative Director, Neil Druckmann.

We’re sure you have many questions after watching this scene. We’re also pretty sure that we’re going to see all sorts of theories about whom these characters are, where and when this scene takes place, and how all of this fits into Ellie and Joel’s next story.

For now we’re keeping mum, but we’re excited to see what y’all make of this piece of the puzzle.

The Last of Us Part II will take place about five years after the first game, players will play as 19 year old, Ellie.

The development of the game started in 2014, Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson will reprise their roles as Joel and Ellie, respectively.

The Last of Us Part II is currently in early development for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.
