Warner Bros. Pictures and Alcon Entertainment revealed a new Blade Runner 2049 trailer.

Harrison Ford leads an ensemble cast including Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, Sylvia Hoeks, Ana de Armas, Carla Juri, David Dastmalchian, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, and Jared Leto.

Synopsis:
“Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos.

K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.”

The long-awaited sci-fi sequel to Blade Runner (1982), directed by Denis Villeneuve, written by Hampton Fancher and Michael Green.

Produced by Andrew A. Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Bud Yorkin, and Cynthia Yorkin.

Frank Giustra and Tim Gamble, CEOs of Thunderbird Films, serve as executive producers.

Principal photography began in July 2016 and as of September 2016 the filming moved to Budapest, Hungary.

Filming wrapped in November 2016 in Hungary.

Warner Bros. will handle the distribution in North America and Sony Pictures Releasing International will handle all media for overseas territories.

Blade Runner 2049 is scheduled to open in theaters on October 6, 2017 in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D formats.
