Most of them watching the press conference got super excited that it will be Naughty Dog’s action-adventure survival horror, The Last of Us Part II…but it was Insomniac Games’ action-adventure video game, Marvel’s Spider-Man.

And right after the Sony’s E3 2017 conference was over, Naughty Dog‘s creative director and programmer Neil Druckmann tweeted “I’m just as stoked as y’all to play the final build of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy!

Word on the street is, it’s a beast” and followed that tweet with “Another killer show, Sony. Props.”

And finally he takes his time to explain why The Last of Us Part II wasn’t at E3 2017, “Believe me, we’re super excited to show you more of Ellie and Joel’s 2nd journey, but right now it’s Chloe and Nadine’s time to shine.”

Well, there you have it, they want the entire focus to be on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy for now, since they dropped a story trailer and additionally footage of the game during E3 2017.

Looks like we will get some stuff from The Last of Us 2 at PlayStation Experience event in December 2017.

The Last of Us Part II is currently in early development for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.
