Naughty Dog has confirmed that their upcoming single-player DLC, The Last of Us: Left Behind will be available on February 14, 2014.
The DLC sees the return of Ellie as “new light is shed on her relationship with Riley, her best friend from the military boarding school they both grew up in.
After inexplicably disappearing for weeks, Riley reemerges in Ellie’s life with a surprising revelation. The two sneak out of their school for the last time, leading to a series of events that will forever change both of their lives.”
Left Behind DLC acts as a sort off prequel, it revolves around Ellie and her best friend Riley (played by Yaani King) as they attend a military boarding school in the Boston quarantine zone, prior to meeting Joel and the events in the main campaign of The Last of Us.

The Last of Us: Left Behind is set to release on February 14, 2014. It is included in the The Last of Us Season Passor you can buy the single-player DLC for $14.99.
