Naughty Dog, Inc., an American video game developer based in Santa Monica, California was found in 1984 as an independent developer by Andy Gavin and Jason Rubin, later was acquired by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2001.
Today, Naughty Dog turns 30 and released a promotional teaser to their full length anniversary video. The full length anniversary video will revealed on October 4, 2014 at Gallery Nucleus, get a sneak peek after the break:
The art show starts on September 27 it will be held in Los Angeles at Gallery Nucleus. Naughty Dog will celebrate its 30th anniversary and host special workshops in concept and character art on October 4th and 12th.
Fans at the art show will be able to buy The Art of Naughty Dog Limited or Regular Edition, and 30th anniversary t-shirts.
The studio’s founders Gavin and Rubin produced a sequence of progressively more successful games, including Rings of Power for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and Way of the Warrior for the 3DO.
In the late 90s Naughty Dog created Crash Bandicoot series for PSone, Jak and Daxter series for PS2, Uncharted franchise & The Last of Us on PS3. After The Last of Us Remastered release for PS4, the studio is currently working on Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
