Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling has confirmed that the engine for the next Call of Duty game will bring plenty of new features.
Modern Warfare 3 is set to release on 8 November, and is set for a formal unveiling this week. Bowling had previously stated that Infinity Ward would continue to enhance its current engine rather than work on a new one from scratch. “We haven’t gone into detail on the engine yet but we’ve moved beyond the MW2 engine and added a lot of cool stuff for MW3,” Bowling said on Twitter.
Battlefield-esque environmental destruction was just one of the features rumored to be hitting MW3. Look out for the first gameplay trailer tomorrow.
