The latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine unveiled the next Medal of Honor game titled ‘Medal of Honor: Warfighter’.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter will be powered by Battlefield 3’s impressive Frostbite 2 engine for an October release worldwide.
The sequel to the 2010 reboot is again being developed by Danger Close studios and follows the story of Tier 1 Operators, the mag reports. Medal of Honor: Warfighter’s multiplayer is being developed in house at Danger Close, and not by Battlefield house DICE.
According to Game Informer, more details and interviews about Warfighter will be shown at a Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco on Tuesday, March 6 from 8.00pm PST (4.00am GMT).
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is expected to hit store shelves in October later this year, likely for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and potentially, the Wii U.
