Electronic Arts and DICE released the launch trailer for their upcoming action-adventure platform, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst ahead if its release next month.
“Times are about to change in the city of Glass. Barely out of juvenile detention, skilled Runner Faith Connors stirs things up with the city’s Conglomerate and the evil Gabriel Kruger.
Faith is forced to start running for something far more important than herself.”
Additionally, EA revealed more details on Mirror’s Edge Catalyst‘s EA/Origin Access trial.
“With the Play First Trial, members of Origin Access and EA Access can try Mirror’s Edge Catalyst for a limited time starting June 2nd.
The Play First Trial gives you access to:
- 6 hours of play time with Mirror’s Edge Catalyst
10 action-packed missions
2 vast districts to explore
Social Play features
The six-hour clock only ticks when the game is open, so if you want to conserve your time, make sure you close the game when you’re finished playing.
If you decide to continue Faith’s story in Glass once Mirror’s Edge Catalyst releases, you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off – all of the progress you make carries over.”
Pre-order the game now to get the Combat Runner Kit or the Speed Runner Kit. The digital Origin version will include both the both the Combat Runner Kit and the Speed Runner Kit.
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be available on June 7 in North America and June 9, 2016 in Europe for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
