Deep Silver revealed the release date for 4A Games’ upcoming post-apocalyptic action-oriented, Metro: Last Light.
The game was originally slated to release in march, but it was delayed. Metro: Last Light was acquired from THQ, Metro: Last Light which suffered a minor delay, but Deep Silver says it didn’t want to keep fans waiting, but will use the extra time to polish the game.
The extra time allows 4A Games to add a final layer of polish to Metro: Last Light to make it as good as possible.

Dr. Klemens Kundratitz, CEO of Koch Media said, “The new release date is the ideal way to strike the balance between bringing the best out of Metro: Last Light and not keep the fans waiting longer than necessary.”
“We won’t leave that time unexploited and will work closely together with 4A Games to make the game even better. It will receive all the attention it deserves.”
“We would like to thank all of the Metro fans for their patience. And we can assure them that we have a lot more coming their way with the franchise,” added Menno van der Bil, international commercial director, Deep Silver.
Metro: Last Light will be released on May 14 (North America) and May 17 (Rest of the world) for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
