UK Charts: Mass Effect 3 Storms The Chart

BioWare’s third-person sci-fi shooter Mass Effect 3 has taken the number one spot, shattering records in the process.

Mass Effect 3 is the biggest launch in the UK this year so far, outselling the past four number ones – Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, UFC Undisputed 3, Uncharted: Golden Abyss and SSX – combined.

Impressively, BioWare RPG has managed to beat the combined week one sales numbers for Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 combined.
