Rockstar announced their DLC plans for upcoming third-person shooter, Max Payne 3.

“The story of Max Payne 3 begins in the single-player game and crosses over into the deepest multiplayer experience we’ve ever created,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We intend to support the Max Payne community with new and innovative content well into the future.”

The DLC schedule kicks off in June with the launch of the Local Justice Map Pack, which includes the Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer multiplayer modes along with two additional maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer, new precinct-themed multiplayer avatar items, multiplayer challenges, and more.

Rockstar also announced Rockstar Pass, priced at 2400 Microsoft Points or $29.99 (£20.56), or £19.99 on PS3 and PC, and will allow purchasers to download all of Max Payne 3’s 2012 DLC schedule at no extra cost – offering a saving of over 35%. You can view the schedule below:

Max Payne 3 was recently delayed, and will now release on May 15 in North America and May 18 internationally; and for the PC on May 29 in North America and June 1 internationally.

Pre-Order Max Payne 3 from select retailers by April 15 and you’ll receive early access to the Pill Bottle Loadout Item – a multiplayer loadout item which allows you to carry more health-reviving painkillers as you fight.
