Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming American superhero film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is just a couple of months away, but the team is still dropping casting news.
The latest being American-born British actress, Lauren Cohan. She will join the film in a cameo role as Martha Wayne, wife of Thomas Wayne and mother of Bruce Wayne.
Cohan is best known for her role as Maggie Greene on The Walking Dead and recurring roles on The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, and Chuck.
The casting gets even more interesting, Cohan’s co-star, American actor, Jeffrey Dean Morgan will play the role of Thomas Wayne.
Morgan is best known for portraying Denny Duquette in the medical drama Grey’s Anatomy, John Winchester on Supernatural, The Comedian in Watchmen (2009), and Ike Evans in Magic City. He is currently playing the role of Jason Crouse on the TV series The Good Wife and he will portray Negan in AMC’s The Walking Dead.
In the film, we might see the pivotal moment in which Bruce Wayne’s parents take him to watch The Mark of Zorro, a little different this time around.
Batman v Superman stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Scoot McNairy.
Directed by Zack Snyder with a screenplay written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer.

Synopsis:

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to be released on March 25, 2016 in IMAX 3D.
