Lionsgate Pictures and Amazon Studios debuted the comedy-drama film, Last Flag Flying trailer.

In the trailer, Three Vietnam vets reunite after a long separation to go on a road trip, to transport Larry “Doc” Shepherd’s son home to a cemetery in New Hampshire, watch it below!

It is a sequel to the 1973 Hal Ashby film, The Last Detail. The film stars Bryan Cranston as Sal Nealon, Steve Carell as Larry “Doc” Shepherd, Laurence Fishburne as Mueller, Richard Robichaux as Anorak, Lee Harrington as Jamie, Kate Easton as Jackie, Deanna Reed-Foster as Ruth Mueller, Yul Vazquez as Col. Willits, Graham Wolfe as John Redman, Ted Watts Jr. as Leland and J. Quinton Johnson.

Storyline:
“In 2003, 30 years after they served together in the Vietnam War, former Navy Corps medic Richard “Doc” Shepherd re-unites with ex-Marines Sal and Mueller on a different type of mission: to bury Doc’s son, a young Marine killed in the Iraq War.

Doc decides to forgo burial at Arlington Cemetery and, with the help of his old buddies, takes the casket on a bittersweet trip up the East Coast to his home in suburban New Hampshire.”

Directed by Richard Linklater with a screenplay by Linklater and Darryl Ponicsan, based upon the latter’s 2005 novel of the same name.

Last Flag Flying will have its world premiere at the New York Film Festival on September 28, 2017, before being released on November 3, 2017.
