English singer-songwriter, Labrinth revealed the music video for his second single, Jealous from his forthcoming second studio album, Take Me to the Truth.
It was written by Labrinth with Josh Kear & Natalie Hemby.
The song is addressed to one of Labrinth’s parents who left the family when he was aged four years old. Labrinth talks about the lyrical content of the song, “A lot of people have been through that experience, he told MTV.
It’s kind of written from the perspective of how my family felt at the time, but I wanted to write it so anyone could dig into the song and relate to it to their own situation.”
Labrinth’s upcoming second album, Take Me to the Truth follow-up to his 2012 debut ‘Electronic Earth’, will drop on November 23, 2014.
