Japanese actor and voice actor, Akio Otsuka took to twitter to bid a goodbye to Hideo Kojima & Konami’s Japanese video game development studio, Kojima Productions.

Akio Otsuka has voiced as Solid Snake, Solidus Snake and Big Boss in Metal Gear series.

“Kojima Productions was forced to disband, but it appears that the work that the team has been putting their utmost effort into is nearly complete. Otsuka tweeted.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that I expect it will become their greatest masterpiece. I couldn’t help it.

I just wanted to say ‘Kept you waiting, huh?’ (Laughs.) But even if this is the end, Metal Gear Solid is immortal!”

Komani is yet to official release a statement on the fate of Kojima Productions.

Hideo Kojima & his senior staff are working on the game as contractors rather than employees and they have planned to depart the company when the contract expires in December 2015.

Kojima Productions, video game development studio under the guidance of game designer Hideo Kojima was found on April 1, 2005, it was a subsidiary of Konami, currently located in Roppongi Hills in Roppongi, Tokyo.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is due out for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 1 and September 15, 2015 for PC.
